Challenge finished on Monday, 15 Sep 2014 Following the recent introduction of the very popular FZ1000 I thought it would be interesting to run a series of Challenges for some of the other Panasonic FZ series cameras, This particular challenge is for any photo taken with a Panasonic FZ series camera from the number FZ28 to the number FZ48 so it includes the FZ28, FZ30, FZ35/38, FZ40/45 & the FZ47/48 models, Any type of photo is welcome ie Macro, landscape, portrait etc but if any add on lenses were used ie Raynox macro etc please make note in the entry, Thanks.

The Bicycle Challenge finished on Saturday, 13 Sep 2014 The bicycle has become a huge part of people’s everyday lives today. Many are weekend recreational riders or eco-minded health conscious individuals that commute back and forth to work each day. Some who do commute to work use folding bikes that can be carried on buses and trains. Submit images of people using their bicycles for pleasure and commuting ONLY. Please, NO images of professional or amateur riders in ANY type of sporting events. Also, NO images of bikes without a rider. I will DQ these types of images. Group riding or those who are riding in charity events, as an example, are fine. The images must show an individual or group of individuals riding , or at least standing or sitting with their bikes. It would be interesting if you could catch riders sitting or standing with their bikes on a train or bus while commuting. If you can, include some information in the title or info line about your image.

Airliners Challenge finished on Friday, 12 Sep 2014 Airliner is an aircraft intended for carrying multiple passengers or cargo in commercial service. Small aircraft, as private, air taxis or business jets that are not registered with a commercial airline and do not fly on regular routes are not allowed to this challenge. The picture could be taken from outside or depict the interior of the aircraft - passengers and crews might appear in the picture but should not be the main subject. The actual aircraft must be the obvious subject of the picture. Try to upload a good quality shot and stay with the theme.

Any filter or polarizer will do as long as it is actually a physical one that was mounted on the lens. UV filter can be used provided that other type of filter or polarizer was used also.
