Winner: Going Home
The American Cowboy Challenge finished on Saturday, 18 Apr 2015 The west certainly isn't the west that it was back in the days when the Earp brother’s battled a gang called the cowboys in Tombstone Arizona, but the days of the traditional cowboy that herded cattle and horses of years past are still with us to a degree. Today’s cowboys work on modern ranches, and some of them follow the rodeo circuit. We also have those, today, that dress up like the cowboys/gunslingers of the past, staging old west gunfights with reenactment groups. But apart from those that work as cowboys, there are individuals that just love wearing cowboy style clothing. Submit your images of him, whether working on a ranch, rodeo, in a reenactment group, or just looking like a cowboy in his everyday life. I will be picky in what I accept. An image of someone wearing a cowboy hat in shorts and running shoes doesn't cut it. Realism is a must, which means from his hat down to his boots, and correct attire in between. So please don’t let me have to bury your image in Boot Hill. :)

No matter what you consider to be sub-optimal about the situation, you're welcome to post. Please clearly state in your description what was poor about the situation. Was it terrible light? Was it cold? Was all plant life dead? Rain? You get the idea. Must be an outdoor portrait of one or two individuals.
