The photo must be taken by you, so if you're not into selfies and want a human subject in the picture, you may instead choose to use a photograph that you'd use on a family member's biography. You're selling a book... your photograph should go some way to help sales! The title of your entry must be the title of your book. Close up or Macro Shot of a Flower Challenge finished on Saturday, 10 Jan 2015 Submit your best image of a close up or macro shot of a single flower against a solid black or solid white background. You may use a white diffusion material to back-light the flower. Photograph any flower you like. Nothing else should be in the image, either in front of, behind, above, or below other than the flower's stem and it's leaves if you choose - and no props like a vase on a table as an example. Mist or water drops on the flower's petals adds a nice touch. Above all, be creative with your lighting. The sample image that I shot a number of years ago of an artificial rose (Pinocchio Rose) which I provided below is used as an example so as to give an idea pertaining to the theme only. Please use a REAL flower in you image. Enjoy the challenge.
