Design Elements - Space Challenge finished on Monday, 25 Jan 2016 Space is a key part to design. It refers to the area that a shape or form occupies. Space can be defined as positive or negative. Positive space is the filled space, the object(s) or element(s) in the design. Negative space is the empty space, or the open space between design elements or objects, such as a background. Showcase an image that represents this aspect of design. The use of negative space could create interesting space in an image, or the balance of positive and negative space could be the main focal point of the image. Silhouettes could be an interesting use of this negative and positive space. As always, I will disqualify any images that I feel do not fill the brief. When voting please vote according to the brief.
