- The Ex-Wife - Conceptual Challenge - (Black and White + A white Border) Challenge finished on Sunday, 05 Jun 2016 In this conceptual challenge, take a photo of one or more animals which lends a vision as per what was described in the theme/title. Process the photo into BW format (preferably grey-scale) and add an elegant white border. My suggestion is to imagine you're driving your new gf Rihanna down to the beach in Barbados when your ex-wife rear-ends your Ferrari with a 20-tonne truck, sending a cup of super hot McDonald's coffee flying towards your DSLR which is sitting on your crotch, which unfortunately is, only covered with a flimsy pair of speedos.

Hibiscus Flowers Challenge finished on Saturday, 04 Jun 2016 This challenge seeks your best images of the flamboyant, very photogenic hibiscus flowers. Often seen in the tropics, they also grow well in temperate climates. Your entry may be of a single flower, part of the flower, or numerous flowers on the hibiscus shrub. Insects or spiders may be present, but should not dominate the picture. I will also accept mallows and other species in the Malvaceae family. Macro and close-ups welcome. Make sure your entry is 1,600px MAXIMUM on its longer side. DPR does NOT resize your photos for you. You need to do this yourself BEFORE you enter a challenge. Entrants with oversize photos will not be invited to re-submit them. Ensure the size is correct the first time!

Or has it been 'just like that', that you decided to take a walk? maybe alone? or maybe with a few others? If so, post a pic, that depicts the mood. Mobile phone photography is also welcome, as long as they are relevant to the challenge. Go creative, metaphorical images are welcome, but they have to described.
