Perspective Challenge finished on Wednesday, 20 May 2009 Finding perspective is easy. Looking down a rail road track is one example. The tracks "seem" to converge way down the line. This is one example of perspective. There are many, right in your back yard. Buildings, Fences, Rows of trees, and so on. be creative...surprise me!

Portraits with eyes closed, but not sleeping. It can be a moment your subject blinked, or thought of something with intensity, or expressed a moment of introspection or peace, or just closed his or or her eyes because you asked them to. The First Love Challenge finished on Thursday, 14 May 2009 This is a romantinc title. Every time we think of it, a different feeling of pleasure chills the spine. So, post your spine chilling work to this challenge. Don't bother to hide your secrets. Good Luck.
A Single Color Challenge finished on Wednesday, 13 May 2009 This challenge is simple enough. The photograph must contain "A Single Color" as main theme. It can be multiple objects, or a series, what ever. But the main object/subject must be a single color, or shades of the same color. Look around, you'd be surprised where you can find this!
Pets Challenge finished on Tuesday, 12 May 2009 An obvious theme but try to find the BEST photos of your pets that you can find, whether new or in your archives. The only real limitation is that it be actual pets that people would commonly have. (Sorry Texas lion and tiger owners!) Iguanas, yes; Komodo Dragons, no! I would hope that voters would pay attention to elements of surprise and not the all too common baby sitting on the dog's head.
Reportage (2) Challenge finished on Tuesday, 12 May 2009 The second of the regular reportage series. This is a series that encourages entrants to take photos in their daily lives and be reporters of their personal stories. Photos must be taken after the announcement date of this challenge, and any photo that does not contain a caption will be disqualified. Try to use the caption to explain more about the background story of the photo, and not just describe what the photo is.
