Challenge has finished
This is a portrait challenge to recreate the famous painting. Imagine yourself with a camera, sitting next to Leonardo da Vinci when he was painting the Mona Lisa. Submit a photograph that resembles as much as possible that famous painting. Elements to consider in the photograph: your subject's look-alikeness to Mona Lisa, her costume, the pose, the background, the lighting, the chair, etc. The best photograph should be the one that when a viewer sees it, will quickly think it is a Mona Lisa interpretation. It is allowed to use your creativity in interpreting / re-interpreting the Mona Lisa, as long as the viewer can quickly think you are attempting to recreate the Mona Lisa. As for creative interpretation: one thought is to recreate a 50's Mona Lisa, a 60's Mona Lisa (hippie!!), 70's, 80's, 90's, etc.
