Challenge has finished
We tend to look at flowers from above, as they display their beauty to the sun, and be attractive to insects, birds etc. However, they can look quite different from below. Show us examples of upward-facing flowers backlit by the overhead sun. Get your camera down to ground-level, and see these flowers from a different aspect. White daisies are often shot this way, but they are just too easy for this challenge; too "Hallmark", and will probably be DQ'd. Please search out other flowers from below, and show us what you've found. The flowers should be outside, in their natural environment. Small insects or spiders may be present, but shouldn't be dominant in the picture. Flowers with their heads hanging down had their own ('Don't Be Shy') challenge recently, so they won't be accepted here. Macro and close-ups welcome. 1,600px MAXIMUM on the entry's longer side.
