Backlit Though Not Silhouette

Show us your best example of a backlit subject which is not in silhouette. You should be shooting into the light but the light source should not be seen in the shot, be that the sun or other source. Make sure it is not a side-lit shot.

Thursday, 3rd February, 2022 – Wednesday, 9th February, 2022 (GMT)

Processing rules:

SIZE: Image size should be between 1080p and 2160p on the SHORT side of the image. (For those without fast internet)
TITLE: Give the image a title, i.e. the location. Images with just a file number are not allowed.
NO personal watermarks, forms of identification, or personal website reference.
NO composite images (No sky replacement etc)

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

Pictures should contain EXIF data
Pictures should be rated as suitable for child/family viewing so no nudity, depictions of cruelty etc.
Submission must be your work. Also allowed is from your direct family i.e. partner, child etc. though only 1 submission is allowed per family unit.
No added borders.

OK, challenge admins are volunteers, and they set the rules and have final say, but I'd hope that say is fair and consistent. Since they don't appear to allow PMs or reply emails to disqualification notices, this seems to be my only forum to respond...

Backlighting alone will generally create a silhouette, unless...
1. subject is translucent.
2. backlight also bounces off surfaces to side and/or front of subject.
3. fill lighting is also used.
So, why is this window backlit shot (with shadows lifted in post)...

The lighting and shadows on the faces look very similar, no?

Actually the rule section does not say side-lit shots are a no-no. Yes, I saw that it is mentioned in the intro, but rule section should be the definitive go-to for finding out the rules. That's a nice photo BTW...
