Challenge is now open for voting (some tips) In this Yin & Yang challenge smooth faces off with rough. The image should contain competing subjects: one smooth, one rough. The tension/contrast between the two should be contribute to the meaning of the image. Be creative and have fun! Show full rules Announced: Wednesday, 3rd July, 2019 (GMT) Submissions: Wednesday, 10th July, 2019 – Tuesday, 16th July, 2019 (GMT) Voting: Wednesday, 17th July, 2019 – Tuesday, 23rd July, 2019 (GMT) Processing rules: The two subjects must be taken at the same time/place (i.e. don't digitally merge two separate images.) Minor retouching and color correction allowed. Focus stacking, panorama stitching and HDR merging are allowed. Capture date rules: No restrictions. Additional rules: No photos which have won previous DPR challenges. Photos which have been entered in multiple challenges may be disqualified. Images clearly not adhering to the theme will be disqualified. If the subject is unclear or abstract provide comment stating the two subjects.
