Processing rules:

Base image must be captured with the camera on the ground, but even fairly extreme editing, such as removing a distracting scene element, is allowed in this challenge -- because sometimes you don't notice such things with the camera positioned awkwardly.

Capture date rules:

Images must be shot after the announcement date of the challenge.

Additional rules:

The camera MUST have been on the ground when the image was captured. You'll probably want to use a live-view LCD pivoted-up to compose your shot....

It's an interesting challenge. But why there is a restriction to Images shot after the announcement date of the challenge only?

I see a few entries that see to be things on the ground... that's fine, but ONLY as long as the camera was also on the ground. If it isn't obvious, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt -- but I will disqualify shots clearly taken with the camera not sitting on the ground.
