Challenge #240 in the Life in the Natural World series. Hosted by RuthC.
Challenge has finished
Here's your opportunity to showcase the flamboyant attention-seekers of the natural world. You might choose pictures of brightly coloured birds strutting about, animals claiming their territory and harem, insects or spiders with vivid colours to warn others to leave them alone. Perhaps you have pictures of amazing flowers or plants which cry out, "Look at Me!" Macro and close-ups welcome. Minimal evidence of humans, pets or man-made constructions please. Size of your entry: 1,600 pixels on the longer side.
