This challenge, by request, invites you to showcase your interesting examples of translucence in the natural world. Suggested examples: translucent insect wings, shells, flower petals, insect larvae, ice, some mineral crystals, small crustaceans, very deep sea fish, etc. Macro and close-ups welcome. Minimal evidence of man, pets, or man-made constructions, please. Size of your entry: 1,600 pixels on the longer side.
