Brief Encounter (Nature)

Challenge #230 in the Life in the Natural World series. Hosted by RuthC.
Challenge has finished
For this challenge, show us two or more insects and/or spiders, (or other small arthropods) who encounter or confront each other, perhaps just in passing, maybe eyeing off a potential mate OR hoping the other insect/spider will be their next meal. For this challenge, the insects or spiders should not be devouring each other, or mating.... just meeting, in their natural environment. Macro and close-ups welcome. SIZE: 1,600px MAXIMUM ON LONGER SIDE.
