Challenge #211 in the Life in the Natural World series. Hosted by RuthC.
Challenge has finished
In this challenge, show us interesting and beautiful ways that nature carpets the ground, perhaps with wildflowers, fallen leaves or petals, mosses, or snow or frost in winter. Show us the interesting details that can be found there, their textures, and their colours. Minimal evidence of humans, pets, or the results of human activity in cultivated fields, garden beds or grassy lawns. Think of soft and natural elements covering the ground. Macro and close-ups welcome. SIZE: 1,600px MAXIMUM ON LONGER SIDE.
