After The Rain (Nature)

Challenge #183 in the Life in the Natural World series. Hosted by RuthC.
Challenge has finished
This challenge gives you the opportunity to showcase your interesting nature pictures taken after the rain has stopped. You may show us examples of water drops on flowers, insects, leaves, spiderwebs. Alternatively you might show us how the land responds on a larger scale, with new plants sprouting in the moist earth, or puddles left after the rain, water levels rising in rivers and streams, etc. (Please, NO dewdrops, caused by mist or fog, and NO rainbows, which are too easy). No humans or domestic pets; and man-made constructions should be minimal. Macro and close-ups welcome. Size of your entry: 1,600pixels maximum on its longer side.
