Challenge has finished

Take a well composed landscape genre dayshot photo and process it (in camera or post processed) to lift the shadows. If there are humans they should not be significant (less than 0.5% of the photo area.). Put a Border on the photograph and watermark a Title on your entry. Photo can be taken with any camera, i.e DSLR, SLR, Mirrorless, Compact, Smartphone, etc... .

Processing rules:

No composites please, minor dust cloning is acceptable.
Please keep the look real, it should maintain some sense of the real colours.
Cropping is OK, but do not cut out / replace the background.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

The total entry limit is now set at 85, might slightly increase the limit if this challenge is well received.
Do not submit shots used in previously completed DPReview.com challenges.
No political statements please, any photos with the slightest hint of controversial statement or message will be removed without any notice.
Shots I find offensive might be removed.
Make sure the entries look good and tasteful (at least you must find your own shot tasteful).
Complaints might not be entertained after the voting has ended.
The host's action (or inaction) is up to him.

Unfortunately, there is no way of knowing how well someone lifted the shadows without a "before" and "after" along side of each other.

Then you must assume that they all have and judge them by how well they are presented and preserve shadow detail. After all the rules do not state anything about the amount shadows are lifted so I assume this is about preserving and presenting shadow detail while keeping it looking realistic.
I've looked through all of them and apart from a few obvious entries they all appear to have the shadows lifted.

I was DQ because my entry was not considered a landscape, although I don't agree with the organizers' view...but now I see that most of the pictures are even less fitting than mine!
