I Spied a Spider #2

Challenge #137 in the Life in the Natural World series. Hosted by RuthC.
Challenge has finished
This week's challenge: Spiders, in their natural environment. They should be outside, if that is where they live. However, if they live on the ceiling above your bed, then capture this image by all means.... :-) If you aren't sure whether it's a spider, count the legs. Six legs = an insect, eight legs = a spider, ten or more legs, it's something else, such as a centipede. We want to see creatures with eight legs, (unless one has fallen off). For the technically minded: Phylum: Arthropoda, Class: Arachnida, Order: Araneae. Macro and close-up shots welcome. SIZE: 1,600px MAXIMUM ON LONGER SIDE.
