Challenge #125 in the Life in the Natural World series. Hosted by RuthC.
Challenge has finished
In this challenge show us examples where life is a struggle for survival, in places such as deserts, barren lands, the Arctic or the Antarctic tundras. This might be through lack of water in the deserts, or permafrost in the tundras, or continual harsh weather on rocky inhospitable land. The life in these places might be plants, lichens, insects or spiders, reptiles, animals or birds.... Please, no humans or domestic pets. Macro and close-ups welcome. 1,600px MAXIMUM on the entry's longer side.
