As a National Geographic photographer, Aaron Huey has shot 27 stories for the company's magazines. With a 3,349 mile solo walk across the US on his resume as well he's got a lot of stories to tell, but perhaps the nearest and dearest to him is the story of his son, Hawkeye Huey.

Armed with an Instax camera, 5-year-old Hawkeye captures the world around him with Aaron as his photo assistant. The two have traveled across the American Southwest, photographing landmarks big and small, sharing Hawkeye's photos through Instagram along the way. His 'perfectly imperfect' analog photos caught the attention of Rolling Stone Magazine, listing him as one of the 100 best Instagram accounts. At age 4 Hawkeye also signed with National Geographic Creative, making him the youngest photographer to do so.

You can see Hawkeye's photos on Instagram (and you can give his dad a follow too). Take a look at Aaron Huey's portfolio and catch him at PIX Tuesday, October 6th at 4:25pm PT.
