Canon has today posted new firmware for the PowerShot S1 IS. Version fixes two issues: (1) Specification changes for the way images are displayed in Continuous AF Mode, (2) Improvements for the overexposure phenomenon that occurred during daytime synchronized shooting. Installation of the new firmware can be carried out by the user, it's simply a case of placing the firmware update file on a CF card and restarting the camera.
