Nikon has announced US pricing and availability of its J4 1-System mirrorless camera. Originally launched last month, the J4 features an 18MP CX-format sensor with an improved Hybrid AF system.

Available in May, the J4, with the 10-30mm F3.5-5.6 PD-Zoom lens, will sell for $599.95. It will come in black, white, silver and orange. A kit with the 10-100mm F4.0-5.6 VR lens will sell for $1049.95. A two lens, 10-30mm F3.5-5.6 PD-Zoom and VR 30-110mm F3.8-5.6, kit will be available for $849.95. 

The company has also announced a new WP-N3 waterproof case and SB-N10 waterproof Speedlight. The underwater housing allows the Nikon 1 J4 and S2 cameras (with lenses) to be taken to depths of of 45m (148 ft). The new Speedlight is waterproof up to 100m (328 ft) and is compatible with the WP-N1, WP-N2 and WP-N3 waterproof cases, as well as the AW1 (when using the new fiber optic cable adapter).

The WP-N3 waterproof case, SB-N10 Speedlight and fiber optic cable adapter will be available in May with final pricing to be determined.
