Pre-PMA 2010: Samsung has released the AQ100 waterproof ultracompact (known as WP10 outside the US). It has been designed to operate underwater to a depth of 3 meters and features a dedicated Aqua mode, that optimizes camera settings for underwater photography. The 12MP camera comes with a 2.7" LCD, 5x (36-180mm equiv) internal zoom lens and 720p HD video recording.

A powerful camera on land or in water, the WP10 boasts an ample, 5x optical inner-zoom lens complete with Digital Image Stabilisation to help reduce blurry images. The WP10 also features a bright, 2.7‑inch TFT-LCD screen for framing and reviewing images.
In addition to taking beautiful still images, consumers can also record impressive 720p HD video above or below the water. The WP10 offers image stabilisation while recording video and for complete simplicity, it has Smart Auto (Still & Movie) scene recognition technology which fine tunes both video and picture settings for the best possible results. Samsung’s advanced Smart Auto allows you to professional-looking photos so you never have to worry about them being washed out, too dark or out of focus.
