In addition to two days of speakers, demos and photo activities, PIX 2015 is also a miniature film festival. We're excited to partner with the Seattle International Film Festival (SIFF), who are presenting PhotoCinema: Films on Photography, some of their favorite recent photography-centric movies. If you're in Seattle, you can catch Finding Vivian Maier, the story of the mysterious street photographer, and The Salt of the Earth, a look into the storied career of Sebastiao Salgado, at the SIFF Film Center.

Wednesday night at 7pm you'll have the opportunity to see Frame by Frame, a documentary that follows four Afghan photojournalists looking to build a free press in their country after decades of war and an oppressive Taliban regime. Directors and producers Alexandria Bombach and Mo Scarpelli will be in attendance at a special showing in McCaw Hall. Get your tickets and we'll see you at the movies!
