Canon posts EOS 20D firmware 1.1.0
Canon has today posted firmware version 1.1.0 for its EOS 20D which adds three new languages to the camera menus: traditional Chinese, Korean and Russian. The new firmware also fixes the problem of horizontal line noise in images shot at high ISO settings while using the built-in flash.

What has been changed in version 1.1.0 of the firmware?
A: It includes the following additions/improvements:
- Three new languages (Russian, Korean, and Traditional Chinese) have been added to the camera menus.
- The phenomenon of horizontal line noise appearing in images taken at high ISO settings while using the internal flash has been fixed.
NOTE:
Please remove the lens from your camera before performing this update.After completing the update, turn the camera off and remove the battery for at least two seconds.
This will cause the camera to recognize the new firmware.
