XSories Bluetooth remote for smartphones

The XSories booth in hall 4 at Photokina is a good place to check out for the users of GoPros and other action cams but the accessory maker has a few interesting items for smartphone photographers in stock as well. There is a Bluetooth remote trigger that can be attached to your key ring and is most useful in combination with a selfie-stick. XSories offers a range of the latter with different colors and lengths. With its anodized aluminium tubes and bright colors the U-Shot model stands out from the more common design.

The Pixprint pocket printer, meanwhile, connects to your mobile device via Wi-Fi and allows you to print directly from your phone or tablet using a thermal dye transfer process. Packs that combine 30 sheets of paper and a toner cartridge are available for refilling.

The company's Bendy tripods can hold smartphones with an optional smartphone holder and, like the selfie-sticks, come in a range of sizes and colors. The XSolar charger should be a useful accessory when out in the wild and without access to the electrical grid. It comes with microUSB and Apple 30-pin connectors and is therefore capable of charging most mobile devices. Also on show are a range of cases for storing all your mobile accessories and the Weye-Feye device that connects your smartphone and DSLR and we have written about previously.
