Photographer Trey Ratcliff is known for imagery that couples saturated colors with dramatic flair and cinematic subjects. He is able to achieve this signature look through high dynamic range photography and after shooting HDR for nearly a decade, the photographer is so well-versed in the technique that he can claim a number of career highlights which include creating the first HDR image, 'Fourth at Lake Austin', to be hung at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C.

Regularly featured on the BBC, ABC, FOX, CBS, NBC, the Huffington Post and a number of other media outlets, Ratcliff has also given presentations for Google Zeitgeist and Tedx. Recently, thanks to a massive social media following, he helped camera bag manufacturer Peak Design in raising more than $1.5 million for production of a new travel photography bag that he also helped to design.

Native to Texas, Ratcliff is currently embarking on a 13 city 'Photo Walk Across the USA' tour that is free to attend. Find out more about him by clicking through the slideshow and accompanying Q+A.
