Photokina 2014: Samsung stand report

Not surprisingly, the NX1 was the star of the show at the Samsung booth.  For those who need a refresher, the NX1 is the first camera to have an APS-C-size backside illuminated CMOS sensor. This 28.2MP camera also features a state-of-the-art hybrid autofocus system, with phase detection covering 90% of the frame, with a large percentage of those points being cross-type.

The NX1's powerful DRIMe processor allows the camera to shoot continuously at 15 fps, and also allows the camera to record 4K and UHD video using the new H.265 codec.
