If the Instagram effects to mimic pre-digital photo distortions are a little too old school for you, Virgin Mobile Poland has an app to bring your over-processed photos to the 21st century.

Pixel Heritage for Windows 8 transforms photos taken on the platform's excellent camera hardware and makes them look like they were snapped by an early-2000's Nokia phone. The app boasts such editing features as randomly generated bad pixels, lens dust, hazy effect and extra noise.

With old mobile photography getting featured in books as art, is the Instagram-obsessed mobile photography world ready for to make their photos look "2000-and-late?"
