To mark 20 years since it opened its (virtual) doors, Amazon is planning a 'Prime Day' next week, on July 15th. Billed as a 'global shopping event', Prime Day will feature more deals for Prime members than Black Friday. We can exclusively reveal that among them will be more than 60 deals from top camera brands. Beyond that, we know little more than you, and we'll be checking the site at midnight just like everyone else. We really need some new memory cards...
As well as the Prime Day event itself, Amazon is also hosting a global photography competition for Prime members. The #PrimeLiving Photo Contest is open to photographers from Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States, and the top prize is $10,000 (or equivalent local currency) in Amazon gift cards to one lucky winner in each of these countries. The contest closes at 11:59pm on July 15th (Pacific time).
As always, if you're interested in entering the contest, we strongly recommend taking a good look at the terms and conditions before doing so.
