PMA 2003: HP has today announced its new three megapixel, three times optical zoom Photosmart 735 digital camera. At first the 735 looks very similar to the 812, however a closer look shows some major design changes, a big viewfinder, status LCD on the top of the camera and other changes. The 735 is also a three megapixel, three times optical zoom camera. Storage is via built-in 16 MB of flash and/or a SD/MMC memory card.

Easy to use manual controls and on-camera help functions allow users with all levels of experience to benefit from the HP Photosmart 735's superior image capturing capability. Features such as the energy saving status display and 3.8cm colour LCD allow users to remain fully in control. The HP Photosmart 735 features 16MB internal memory for storing up to 114 pictures, as well as a SD/MMC memory card slot for adding more capacity.

The HP Photosmart 735 comes with HP's easy to use Instant Share technology allowing photographers to preset the destination of individual images to either email or directly to print, making it easier than ever before to share digital images straight from the camera.
With HP Direct Print users can simply connect the HP Photosmart 735 via USB cable to an HP Photosmart, selected HP Deskjets or selected HP All-in-one printers to print photographs instantly - no PC is required.

The new HP Photo & Imaging Software which includes HP Memories Disc, provides users with the opportunity to create personalised CDs to play on DVD players or on a PC. The Photosmart 735 even provides unlimited versatile video recording capabilities(14 MB/minute) for capturing sound and movement, bringing memories to life.

For ease and speed of photo production HP has also introduced the new HP Photosmart 8886 digital camera docking station with wireless remote control. The docking station enables users to download, e-mail or print images direct to a photo printer in one easy step without using a PC, or even to view pictures, videos and slideshows on TV. It also enables in-camera battery recharging via included AC-Adapter and rechargeable batteries.
The camera is fully compatible with the new HP Photosmart DSCA 21 starter kit providing users with all their basic needs, including 4xAA 1800 NiMH batteries and a 2h quick recharger. The HP Photosmart premium padded case is an ideal solution custom fit for protecting all HP's cameras. For times when pausing isn't an option, the HP Photosmart DSCA 41 mobile traveller kit additionally includes an in-car adaptor for the 2h quick recharger and a 32MB SD card.
The HP Photosmart 735 is available from June 2003 at a recommended retail price of €349-399. The HP Photosmart 735 also comes bundled with the HP Photosmart 8886 docking station at a recommended retail price of €429-479. In addition consumers can find this camera in various retailers bundled with the HP P130 printer.
Accessories: All new HP Photosmart digital camera accessories are available from May 2003. The HP Photosmart 8886 digital camera docking station with remote control is retailed at a recommended street price of €99. The new HP Photosmart accessory kits DSCA41 and DSCA21 have been enhanced with the latest technology components, at a much lower recommended retail price of €79 and €49 respectively. The new HP Photosmart premium padded cases will retail at recommended price in the range of €19-€29.
