Canon EOS R7 added to studio scene
We've just published the studio test scene for the Canon EOS R7, the company's latest mid-range APS-C mirrorless camera.
We'll be getting out to shoot with the EOS R7 and R10 in the coming days, but the studio scene provides an opportunity to see how the new camera compares to its peers and predecessors.
The EOS R7 is built around a 32MP Dual Pixel AF CMOS sensor, which Canon says is new. Looking at the Raw images we're not seeing a significant difference between the EOS R7 and the existing EOS 90D and EOS M6 II, that also deliver 32MP. However, the new Digic X processor in the R7 appears to offer more sophisticated JPEG processing. See what you think:

Our test scene is designed to simulate a variety of textures, colors and detail types you'll encounter in the real world. It also has two illumination modes to see the effect of different lighting conditions.
