Filming fire has come a long way since the 1991 movie Backdraft. Emerging Director Brendan Bellomo and DP Greg Wilson shot a slow motion short using the Phantom Flex4K camera, which shoots 1,000 FPS in full 4K resolution. We posted a story about this back in April, but as they've added a 'making of' video, we thought it worth mentioning again. The results are riveting.

And since recording in Raw at 16GB a second only gave them a few seconds of action at a time, everything from choreography, staging, to camera framing had to be carefully planned for the live-burn shoot.

Take look at the behind the scenes conversation with Bellomo and Wilson to learn more about their experience shooting 4K video using the Phantom Flex4K.
