Kodak shooting stars at the Oscars
Kodak
used Oscar night to stretch the legs of their DC290, using it to shoot
stars as they arrived and also the award ceremony. Kodak out to prove
you don't have to spend $5,000+ to be a journalist (cough, is this what
they were trying to prove??)..
You
can check my review of the Kodak DC290 here
Here's the press release:
Last night at the Academy Awards ceremony,
Kodak was on hand to capture some of the evening's finest moments. Long
Photography photographers from were right in
the middle of the action along the famed red carpet, catching all the
glamour and finery of the stars' arrivals with KODAK DC290 Zoom Digital
Cameras.
...Later, inside the event, we captured
the emotion when Kevin Spacey took the Best Leading Actor award -- and
much, much more.
All of those pictures were posted to the Kodak.com Web
site in near real-time.
Who went with whom? Who was wearing what?
What did the winners do when their names were announced? In case you missed
the action -- or if you want to relive the evening -- you can check out
