Premium bag manufacturer ONA has introduced a new range of soft camera bags made from Nylon and leather with brass fittings. The Black Collection comprises the company's Camps Bay backpack and Brixton messenger bags redesigned in the new materials, as well as a new rolling duffle bag that has space for clothes as well as cameras. The Hamilton wheeled bag combines a hard-edged layer that has protective compartments for a large DSLR, six lenses and accessories with soft zip-up upper layer that can hold enough clothes and personal effects for a weekend – according to ONA. The company also says that the bag's 55.9 x 34.3 x 22.9cm (22 x 13.5 x 9in) outer dimensions make it suitable to carry on an airliner as cabin baggage.

The Hamilton

Each of the bags is made with what is described as 'heavy duty' 1050D ballistic nylon, while straps and handles are made with 'full-grain' leather. Press studs, clasps and rings are made from solid brass for strength and durability.

The Brixton and Camps Bay bags, with their large flaps, are both water-resistant. The larger of the two, the Camps Bay backpack can hold a DSLR with a 70-200mm F2.8 sized lens, as well as seven other lenses or accessories in compartments either side of the main section. There is also space for a 17in laptop.

The Brixton is a messenger-style day bag, that's designed for smaller cameras, such as rangefinders and compact system cameras. It can hold a single body and two or three lenses/accessories, as well as a 13in laptop or tablet.
