Lowepro expands 'Passport Series' line of camera bags
Lowepro has announced a new 'Passport Series' of camera bags. In addition to the existing Passport Sling bag, the line now includes a backpack and messenger-style camera bag. Each bag has a removable and customizable camera compartment, internal zipped pockets and storage for a laptop or tablet.
All three bags can hold a 13-inch laptop or tablet, compact DSLR or mirrorless camera, plus extra lens or flash. The Passport Backpack and Sling III will sell for £52/$87, while Passport Messenger will retail for £60/$100.
Your Lowepro 'Passport' to Stylish Storage
Storage capacity meets modern style in the new Passport Series from Lowepro. Available to see on stand at The Photography Show for the first time, this versatile range of soft-sided camera bags is ideal for shooting in and around the city and means you can wave goodbye to multiple bags for the many items of equipment modern life demands.
Each of the Passport Series features a removable camera compartment which is impact-resistant and can be customised to carry either a DSLR or a CSC. A CradleFit system pocket in each bag offers dedicated storage for a laptop or tablet. Constructed from floating foam, this clever pocket suspends items to protect them from impact.
Passport Backpack – SRP £52
Capitalise on the current trend for an urban backpack with the stylish Passport Backpack. A large internal pocket can be customised as a day pack to carry personal items and camera equipment in the removable impact-protect padding.
The dedicated CradleFit laptop or tablet storage fits neatly down the back of the backpack and an interior mesh pocket folds out of the main compartment for storage of smaller items. A front organiser pocket also offers easy access to items and two tall pockets on each side of the bag are perfect for carrying water bottles.
The Passport Backpack has a padded mesh back and contoured shoulder straps for the perfect comfort fit. It is available in stylish black.
Passport Messenger – SRP £60
For those who prefer to wear a messenger design, the Passport Messenger offers protected storage whilst creating a more casual style.
A large internal section houses both the dedicated CradleFit storage and the camera padding for compact and secure storage. A large flap folds over the main compartment and a front organiser pocket – perfect for storing smaller items such as mobile phones - and clips securely in two places.
The Passport Messenger has an adjustable shoulder strap for personal style and comfort and a removable shoulder strap. A quick grab handle also features on this design for additional carrying options.
The Passport Messenger is available in black and grey/orange.
Passport Sling lll – SRP £52
The Passport Sling III offers a stylish way to carry and store items without the bulky nature of many camera bags. A large internal pocket holds a CradleFit system pocket for dedicated storage of a 13” laptop or tablet and removable impact-protected padding.
This clever bag also gives you the option of increasing storage by 30 per cent with an extendable zipped front compartment – perfect for those days when you need to carry additional equipment. Smaller pockets are perfect for storage of personal items such as mobile phones.
The shoulder strap on the Passport Sling III is fully adjustable for personal comfort and features a removable shoulder pad.
The Passport Sling III is available in black and grey/orange.
All of the bags in the Passport Series feature secure, internal zipped pockets to keep valuables protected and safe.
