DPReview is looking for a Mobile Imaging Editor
Dpreview.com is looking for a Mobile Imaging Editor to join our growing team based in Seattle, WA. This is a unique opportunity to play a key part in the design and launch of an entirely new content area, and to drive the expansion of the dpreview platform into the fast moving world of connected photography.
From Facebook to Instagram, from the iPhone to Snapseed, photography has never been more immediate, more accessible or more social. We need you to help us build a world class resource for those seeking inspiration, advice and information on the very latest hardware and software, and on all the cool things people are doing with them.
You'll be someone completely immersed in the wireless technology and photography world, an expert on smart phones, tablets, apps and photo sharing communities, and excited by the creative possibilities these technologies offer the connected photographer. You'll be passionate about finding smart ways to build an audience and a community beyond the 80 million photographers who visit www.dpreview.com every year. You will possess particular insight into the evolving social web. You are someone that not only religiously uses all of the social tools available today, but are constantly thinking about how they could be improved.
Responsibilities will include managing, sourcing and producing high quality content, from news stories to blogs to hardware and software reviews. You'll be working closely with the dpreview.com editorial and engineering teams and directly with manufacturers, developers and technology providers, as well as attending trade shows and product launches.
