Nikon Coolpix P900 Hands-on

With an 83x, 24-2000mm equivalent lens, the Nikon Coolpix P900 is the undisputed king of the superzooms. On paper at least, we can't imagine a scene that this lens shouldn't be able to handle, whether its shooting architecture or wildlife. To keep things steady, the camera has an advanced image stabilization system that offers 5 stops of shake reduction. The lens is so long that the flash has to pop up incredibly high above the barrel, as you can see here.

Behind all that glass is a 1/2.3" 16MP CMOS sensor, which is likely the same one used in many Nikon compact cameras.
