The Natural History Museum has announced winners of its Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2014 competition. This year's winning photos document all manner of creatures, from a pride of lions pictured above in the Serengeti, to a common yellow scorpion in the northeast of Spain. The competition, open to photographers worldwide, recognizes both adult and youth winners and awards the top photo with £10,000 and a trophy.

Think you've got what it takes to win? The 2015 competition opens January 5th and accepts submissions from pros, amateurs and youth until February 27 2015. Visit the Natural History Museum's website to see all of the winners and finalists, and see our coverage of last year's winners.
