The PowerShot G3 X is Canon's newest premium compact camera, offering a versatile 24-600mm equivalent zoom lens and a 1"-type 20MP sensor. Ergonomically, it's a mixture of EOS DSLR-style controls and Canon's familiar PowerShot touchscreen interface. DPReview Editor Barney took the G3 X out on a weekend fishing trip deep in the Olympic mountains. We've got more samples on the way but for now, take a look at our initial real-world gallery.
