Italian accessories brand Manfrotto has announced a new model in the 190 range of tripods that is lighter and more compact than others in the series. The Manfrotto 190Go! is designed for traveling photographers and those working on location who require an eye-height tripod that packs away to take up as little space as possible.

Extending to a maximum height of 146cm/57.48in, the 190Go! collapses down to just 45cm/17.7in. The new model, which is made of aluminum, weighs 1.7kg/3.75lbs and features twist lock legs that the company claims 'allow for the easy opening and closing of all sections at one time with one hand'.

Manfrotto has included its 90° center column that pops out of the leg collar to lay horizontal for copying, macro work and awkward angles, as well as an Easy Link attachment for screwing accessories to the casing of the tripod.

The Manfrotto 190Go! can support up to 7kg/15.43lbs, and with its four leg positions offers a lowest shooting height of 7cm/2.76in. The tripod is available now at a price of $199.99/£159.95.
