The Olympus PEN 'Lite' series continues to evolve

The third major announcement of the week was the Olympus PEN E-PL7. While it looks grownup and businesslike from the front with its E-P5-esque design touches, it's a party 'round the back thanks to a selfie-ready flip-out LCD. Nothing is immune from selfie-fication, it seems. Regardless of how many self-portraits you take regularly, the E-PL7 is still a well-specified entry-level mirrorless camera, with a top-panel control dial, 3-axis stabilization, 8 fps continuous shooting and built-in Wi-Fi.

We've been using the camera for a little while now and we're still mystified by the length of time required to configure it in a sensible way (a long-standing complaint about Olympus cameras of this type). Still, Olympus has included some nice hardware updates in this generation.
