Although it's been done before -- perhaps first by Indie-rockers The Vaccines and also by English singer-songwriter Ellie Goulding -- Mexican indie band The Plastics Revolution claim theirs is the first music video exclusively comprised of Instagram images.

Videographer Arturo Perez is behind the music video for the song "Invasión." Perez, an active Instagram user, decided to use the photographic social networking site to process all 1,905 frames to create a square-format, vignetted and sepia-toned stop motion video.

The music video was found by the Huffington Post and featured by San Francisco hyperlocal blog SFist. Shot entirely in San Francisco, the video follows our main character as he finds the girl of his dreams and goes on a wild adventure.

On their Vimeo site, The Plastics Revolution made this statement:

This is the very first music video done entirely on Instagram without any third party alterations. Every single frame of this music video is an actual picture that we ran through Instagram. We never shot any video. We only shot still photography. All 1905 pictures went through the normal Instagram process on an iPhone. We hope you like it!
