Like its iPad equivalent, Camera+ now features effects layering and blending. The intensity of each effect can be adjusted via sliders.
The new Hollywood Effects Pack offers new filters and new borders, including cinematic formats. And, you can try them out before you tap the shopping cart.

Tap tap tap has updated its Camera+ app to version 3.9.1 and implemented effects layering and blending — already available on the iPad version of the app — for iPhones. In the advanced editing menu, you can add one effect over the other and use individual sliders to adjust the intensity of each layer. Moving the slider essentially eliminates the visual effect but the effect bar can be dragged up the screen to delete it altogether.

A new Hollywood Effects Pack is also available in the updated version with color and monochrome effects including Neo, Amelie, Gotham, Silent Movie and Home Movie. The pack also features new borders, which range from DVD, VHS and various cinematic film formats (Super 8, 16mm) to wide format Letterbox and more. A demo version comes with the update so you can try before you buy.

In addition to bug fixes, effects pack owners can now sync their purchases across devices via iCloud. And, if you prefer your apps in  Brazilian Portuguese (apparently this app is very popular in Brazil), Camera+ now has you covered.

Camera+ is on sale for $0.99 in the iTunes store — at least for today, so this may be the time to add it to your iOS 5.0 (or later) device.
