Whether you "like" it or not, Instagram is a widely used social network. A new short documentary asks users why they use Instagram.

For millions of people, Instagram is a tool to share photos with friends and strangers alike, but for some, Instagram is the ultimate form of modern personal expression. A short film from Paul Tellefsen interviews some of the most active users on Instagram and asks the question: "In a culture immersed in technology, Instagram is reviving adventure, face to face community and real relationships. How can something so digital get people out from behind their devices and into the analog world?"

The resulting 24-minute film, titled "Instagram Is" offers insight into the minds of avid Instagrammers who use the social network to connect to their world and each other.
