Canon's new G5 X, G9 X, and EOS M10: What you need to know
Canon has dropped a trio of new cameras on the world - one M-mount interchangeable lens model and two fixed lens compacts - and we wanted to give you, our readers, a quick summary of their most interesting features.
The first camera of note is the EOS M10, which takes over the EOS M2's position as Canon's entry-level mirrorless camera. Arriving alongside with the M10 is a new ultra-compact 15-45mm kit lens, which takes up very little space when in its collapsed position.
The other two models straddle Canon's popular PowerShot G7 X enthusiast compact. The G5 X is the step-up model, offering an SLR-style design, electronic viewfinder and front control dial. The G9 X is the entry-level camera that puts that 1"-type sensor into a body resembling that of the PowerShot S120.
Let's go into more detail about each camera now, beginning with EOS M10.
