More and more couples are opting for full-fledged photo sessions rather than simply posing for a single image for their official engagement announcements. Engagement photo sessions are not only an additional source of income for photographers but, as New York City-based wedding photographer Ryan Brenizer explains in this video, these shoots provide the perfect opportunity to establish a relationship with the couple and learn how to make them feel comfortable in front of the camera before the big day.
Rather than talking tech, Brenizer offers a number of helpful tips ranging from what’s important when shooting a silhouette to what to look for when choosing a location that best suits the couple’s personalities and relationship. Brenizer’s advice is interspersed with behind the scenes video and stills.
