SD card 5.0 protocol supports up to 8K video recording but risks confusion

The SD Association has introduced a Video Speed Class rating, designed to identify cards capable of 8K, 4K, 3D and 360° video capture. Polaroid launches Eyeball panoramic tripod head

A remote control spinning tripod head that is said to be ideal for shooting panoramas has been launched in the US and UK by Polaroid. The Panorama Eyeball Head fits on a tripod or stands freely on its own feet, and can accommodate DSLRs as well as compacts. The control unit connects with the head via an IR link and manages both the speed and direction of rotation. Read more

The Case Relay Camera Power System from Tether Tools offers 'infinite camera power' for a wide range of DSLR and mirrorless cameras. Nissin releases i60A flash unit with a guide number of 60m

Flash manufacturer Nissin has announced a hotshoe flash unit that features a guide number of 60m and the company's radio wireless control system. The Nissin i60A can control three groups of flashes in its role as a commander, or it can be controlled via another Nissin flash unit (only the Di700A at the moment) equipped with the NAS system or by the company’s Air 1 commander unit.
