At ISO400 the difference between the two cameras is much less clear cut, with the Canon G6 actually showing more noise than the P150. To some extent this masks the difference in sharpness, though you can still see more detail in the Canon image, especially at the edges. What is perhaps most surprising is how well both cameras control noise, which is actually lower than many equivalent 5 megapixel models at the same ISO setting.
