Opinion

I waited for a model to appear with the 730's optical zoom, resolution, and price point. I snatched this up as soon as it became available.

Problems

Extremely slow autofocus under incandescent lighting has forced me to return the camera. I tested its autofocus against 3 other, older, midrange digital cameras and the Olympus was consistently 2-3 times slower. In addition, the electronic viewfinder dims considerably while the camera is focusing.
